Thought to be related to H.tatei and H.neblinae, this species displays green pitchers and bright red nectar spoons in favorable conditions. *WYSIWYG*

WATER: The best way to water Heliamphora is to water the pitcher from overhead every few days until they over flow. The plants have overflow slits along the pitcher which allow rain to flood out and into the surrounding soil, while teeth-like hairs inside the pitchers prevent digested prey and nutrients from escaping. They receive copious amounts of rainfall and humidity in their natural habitat.

SOIL: We use a 60/40 perlite to peat for all Heliamphora. Some growers use pure long fibered sphagnum, but mind watering schedules to avoid root rot

CONTAINERS: Plastic or terracotta pots up to 12 inches works for this species. Drainage holes allowing full saturation watering on the tray method works best.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0635/7555/6260/files/947300B1-D499-4451-9349-53805FBB5230.jpg?v=1782079220
